Darling Downs Protective Coating is primarily a sandblasting business based just outside of Toowoomba on Heinemann Road in Charlton. Owner/operator John Kerr purchased the business in 2004 and has run it since that time.  

Sandblasting, is the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, shape a surface or remove surface contaminants. Sandblasting is an inexpensive way to remove rust, scale, paint products or imperfections from steel, metal, concrete or wood.

At Darling Downs Protective Coating we specialise in Abrasive Blasting, priming & Spray Painting. We offer our services to a wide range of customers including; Residential Customers, Industrial, Mining, Gas, Oil and the Agriculture Industry.
